Terrier

My latest finished piece of art was of a little terrier in graphite. I decided to 'force' myself to do a graphite or pencil piece as I haven't drawn one for ages. Force isn't really an overstatement as when I started this I felt 'uggh, I want to paint, not do a graphite piece!!!' Thankfully that mood didn't last into today when I actually realised I do enjoy drawing like this. So hoping to draw something else in graphite soon, maybe a big cat? Not entirely sure as yet.



I'm currently working on another piece at the moment, this time a watercolour picture of all five of my current rats. I'm not entirely sure how it will end up... at first I wasn't going to include a background however it looked a bit sparce without one so I tried for an all-one-colour simple background. However, I'm not sure if that was the best option but I guess I'll have to wait and see how it all turns out!

Other than that, not much new to write about. I updated my art site a few days ago, bringing it more up to date.
